Dr. MacKay Tingey received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in German with a minor in Philosophy. He graduated from the University of Washington with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He received his post-doctoral training and residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where he obtained a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology and certificate in Orthodontics. His philosophy is, "Do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reasons to get the best results. Treat others, as you would want to be treated." Dr. Tingey enjoys the patient interaction and the relationship with the families that develop as they work together to create beautiful smiles and enhance patients’ self-image.

Dr. Tingey is a native of the Seattle area and now resides in Sammamish with his wife, Shelly and their three children: Sydne (daughter), Kian (son), and Cameron (daughter). He enjoys mountain biking, fly-fishing, gardening, volleyball, and coaching. He is involved with Church and Boy Scouts.

He uses the newest technology, coupled with research-based methods and a kind, personal touch to provide the best in orthodontic care.
